Marlous Van Zee and Jaimie Van Heije tied the knot at White Castle in the Netherlands. Their intimate celebration was relaxed and full of humour; Marlous' father danced her down the aisle, a dutch actor married them while guests sipped champagne and ate popcorn and at the reception there were games guests could enjoy whilst they chose their seats at long tables. The couple achieved the relaxed vibe they were aiming for saying they were not stressed at all and felt like guests at someone elses birthday party.

Marlous and Jaimie's choice of wedding venue was a case of chance serendipity. The bride saw the venue posted on Wild at Heart's instagram and it was a case of love at first sight. The venue serviced as the background for their ceremony and reception.
Jaimie and Marlous did all of the planning themselves. With Jamie being a chef, food took a central theme (Jamie is a chef) and the couple ended up with six wedding cakes - one of which was made by the grooms father!
Marlous entrusted their floral designer, Edénique whole heartedly to surprise her with something spectacular and we can see why!
Her advice for brides is work with great people and let them do what they are good at because if you do not expect things then you get beautiful surprises.
Marlous wore the Nico gown that she had fallen in love with instantly. She knew she wanted a veil with lace so ended up finding two separate ones that her mother made into one! (Mum to the rescue). When Jaimie saw her he teared up and later just said "WOW" - we agree!
Her dress advice: "Go with a small group - 1 to 2 people, stay true to yourself & visit Wild at Heart"
Its not just the brides that have fun finding their outfit. Jaimie went to New York for 3 days to suit supply for his tailored suit. He ended up only having to do one fitting and spent the rest of the time eating all around the city. "Boys will be boys" our bride adds! Jaimie also has a large sneaker collection and claims he could never have gotten married in any other shoes than Nike - he had chosen a pair of Nike's in collab with Virgil Abloh Offwhite.
