The Varca Bride is unafraid to be bold.
From ballgowns with leather piping, to sequin jumpsuits with matching feathered jackets, Varca designs for the badass brides looking to stand out on their wedding day.
The emerging designer is a limitless wealth of innovative, irreverent designs, all created made-to-measure with utmost attention to detail in her cozy Chicago studio. “I have more ideas than my hands could ever keep up with,” Sarah Varca says. Though every piece she creates is imbued with her signature playful sense of fun, “There is nothing I take more seriously than making women feel fabulous.”
Varca is a body positive brand and believes that on her wedding day, a bride deserves a gown tailored just for her. That’s why each gown is bespoke to its bride’s individual measurements.
“I don’t think about the dress first when I am designing. I ask all my clients, how do you want to feel? That’s where I start. With the feeling.”
Sarah Varca lives in Logan Square, Chicago with her husband and cats, Jane and Elizabeth Bennet. Sarah is a Wyoming native, a francophile, a cheese enthusiast, a knitter, a weaver, a gardener, a thrift store addict, and a feminist.
She also wants to make you a wedding dress.
