Imagine David Hamilton photographing Jane Birkin’s wedding day. The result would look not far off French designer Donatelle Godart’s bridal collection. Tapping into the trend towards fuss-free wedding dresses, Godart’s designs are exactly that; the idea coming from a self-prescribed pared-back dress she created for her own wedding. Birkin would approve.

About the Designer

Graduated from a Parisian design school, Donatelle started as a stylist in various fashion magazines. She refines her sense of aesthetics and perfects her look over the seasons and trends, which she has learned to grasp. It is from drawing her very own dress that she first had the idea to create her line of wedding dresses.
