Raised in Sydney, Australia, Angel Spendlove is a former professional ballerina, dancing with major ballet companies around the world, including The Hong Kong Ballet, English National Ballet, and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
After retiring from the stage and settling in Toronto, Canada, Angel completed her BA in Environmental Design and Architecture from OCAD University, and began her career as a costume designer before creating & FOR LOVE in 2014. While creating the & FOR LOVE collections, she is also the resident designer for Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre, and has most recently worked with NYC choreographer Jennifer Archibald for Tulsa Ballet.
