Glitter, velvet, steel, modern, retro, victorian…and plants. So many plants. All of these side by side to create the most luxurious space. We have worked so hard to source the most perfect pieces for the shop, and we did it all without using a single piece of plastic. Every piece of furniture, the chandeliers, the rugs, the plant stands, even the portraits hanging on the walls were all bought second hand, thrifted, or antiqued in and around Boone, North Carolina, or were handmade by local artisans.
There are so many beautiful items already in existence and the beauty of a place like Boone reminds us what we are working to preserve for future generations. One glance out the shop windows at any given point in the year offers a flourish of color, trees, peaks, and valleys.

We understand that things come up, so a cancellation is no problem. Just give us at least 24 hours notice so we can try to fit someone else into your spot and reschedule you as soon as possible (our appointments fill up fast!). Please note that a cancelation with less than 24 hours notice or a no-show is subject to a $30 cancellation fee.

All of the dresses in our shop that you will be trying on are samples. Once you have selected a dress, we take your measurements and work with you in choosing the best size for you. We then order your specific dress and have it shipped to our shop. Alterations are to be expected. We do not offer alterations, but we will refer you to our favorite local alterations specialists.
We require a 60% deposit on any special order gowns and 100% on all accessories. The gown balance is due when your gown arrives. We require sample sale gowns to be paid in full at time of sale, as you will be taking the gown with you when you leave the shop that day.
