In April 2017, COSMOPOLKA launched its Bridal Store for the urban and self-confident bride. Beyond princess look and lavish opulence, you will find a contemporary aesthetic that impresses with the highest degree of craftsmanship and the use of fine fabrics such as silk and French lace.
The name COSMOPOLKA is made up of the Greek word cosmos, meaning "jewelery", "world" and "order", and the word polka meaning the well-known Czech folk dance, often danced at weddings and known internationally. Our concept of bridal fashion is expressed in our name. It is modern, timelessly beautiful and authentic! We focus on current fashion trends and looks, while at the same time attaching great importance to tradition and perfect workmanship.
All wedding dresses and accessories from our collection come from selected labels and manufacturers. They are designed in Germany, Poland and France and produced directly at the designers' locations under fair working conditions.

From our shop window we look at the early Baroque Neustädter church, the last resting place of the great philosopher, mathematician and universal genius Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. And only a few houses away lived in the middle of the 18th century Adolph Freiherr Knigge, one of the enlighteners and classics of German literature counts and whose name is still representative of fine manners and manners.

We offer many different types of appointments.
First bridal gown appointment:
This appointment is for the bride who has not visited COSMOPOLKA, and would like to try on bridal gowns. This appointment will last 1,5 hours.
Second bridal gown appointment:
This appointment is for the bride who has already visited COSMOPOLKA but needed to sleep on her purchase, bring her family and friends in for the "Yes!" moment, or the bride who needed to narrow down her selection before finalizing her dream gown and accessories.
Accessories appointment:
This appointment is for the bride who has already purchased her bridal gown, and is looking for the perfect accessories. Unlike some other salons, COSMOPOLKA does allows gowns purchased from other boutiques to be brought in for this appointment. This appointment will last 30 minutes.
Pick up appointment:
This appointment is for the bride whose bridal gown has come in (woohoo!!). Brides should come prepared to try on and pick up their bridal gowns.

Depending on the designer and time of year, our Bridal Gowns take 1,5 - 3,5 months to arrive after ordering. We suggest to plan further 2-3 months for the fitting and alteration process. We offer also a rush delivery an additional cost.
Alterations are at an additional charge. The cost of alterations will vary depending on the style of gown, the fabric and detail, as well as the alterations needed.
The ideal complement to the wedding look are our noble bridal accessories that are created by hand for selected brands and designers.

She has inherited her love for fashion and high quality fabrics from her grandfather Roman, who was a tailor. At the age of fifteen, she tailored her own clothes and sewed old clothes on her mother's sewing machine. Even today, the loft of her parents serves as a source of inspiration, where she is true fashion treasures of the
Seventies and eighties finds.
A degree in technical editing led her to Hanover. In parallel, she designed a coats collection for a small Krakow label.
